Turki Bin Abdelaziz: Refugees

Prince Turki Bin Abdelaziz, who is in charge of the Saudi campaign to support displaced Syrians, was in Jordan on 1 March to take part in a ceremony at Ghabawi warehouses in eastern Amman, to mark the latest round of Saudi aid to refugees from the Syrian conflict. The prince said Saudi Arabia and Jordan were working in close partnership, and that the initiative would be developed to ensure a wider reach. Prince Turki, born in 1934, lived in Cairo for many years but seems to have returned home after the death of his wife, Hind Bint Shams Al-Din Al-Fassi, in 2010.
