President of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA) Prince Sultan Bin Salman Bin Abdelaziz made an official visit to Kuwait in mid-October to attend the inaugural meeting of Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC) tourism ministers. On 13 October, he met (separately) Kuwait’s Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah and Crown Prince Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah; the next day, he met Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah at the Bayan palace. Prince Sultan Bin Salman’s official Twitter account was recently hacked by someone who posted a series of tweets critical of the sector.
