Issue 315 - 14 Jan 2016 | 1 minute read

Long-time project manager at the 4,764MW Medupi coal project Roman Crookes has resigned. He will be replaced by Phillip Dukashe. Dukashe is described as being instrumental in efforts to restore capacity at the 3,600MW Majuba coal power plant after a silo collapsed in November 2014. He has been at Eskom for 22 years managing coal power plants and acting as chief nuclear officer at the 1,800MW Koeberg nuclear power plant.
