The closing date to bid for state utility Senelec’s international tender to renew the 30kV subsea transmission line between Dakar and Gorée Island has been extended to 5 August. Work on the World Bank International Development Association-supported project (tender number AOI/SENELEC/PASE/15/2015) includes installing 4km of 3x50mm² 30kV copper cable and 1km of HN33S26 3x150mm² aluminium cable.
