Saudi Arabia: Kingdom boosts Pakistan arms exports

Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF), part of the country’s Ministry of Defence Production, has reported a 325% increase in its export earnings during fiscal year 2015/16, reaching $94m for the year. According to defence news site Quora, the sharp rise is due to purchases from Saudi Arabia, which is POF’s largest export customer. POF makes a wide range of small arms, ammunition, mortar bombs, grenades and other explosives.
