King Salman Bin Abdelaziz has had several high-profile visitors as he settles into the job. On 8 February, King Salman received United Nations secretary-general Ban Ki-moon at the Al-Yamamah palace in Riyadh, a meeting attended by Crown Prince Miqrin, his son and defence minister Mohammed Bin Salman, National Guard minister Miteb Bin Abdullah, minister of state Musaid Bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, finance minister Ibrahim Al-Assaf and Nizar Bin Obaid Madani, described by state news agency SPA as still being minister of state for foreign affairs even though he was not named as such in King Salman’s post-accession government.
