Crown Prince Salman Bin Abdelaziz led Saudi Arabia’s delegation to the G20 summit in Brisbane (15-16 November), arriving in Australia on 13 November. In his speech to the summit on its opening day, Prince Salman – who says Riyadh is keen on “enhancing its active role” in the G20 – said Saudi Arabia would continue to play a role in keeping oil markets on an even keel. “The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia continues its balanced and positive role in cementing the stability of oil markets taking into account the interests of the producing and consuming countries,” he said.
