Saudi Arabia: Turki Bin Salman resigns

Prince Turki has resigned from his position as chairman of Saudi Research & Marketing Group (SRMG), for “personal reasons”. Prince Turki had only been in the job since February 2013 (GSN 941/7); his resignation came not long after that of group managing director and chief executive Azzam Al-Dakhil, who tendered his on 20 March, also for personal reasons. Prince Turki took over as SRMG chairman from his brother, Prince Faisal Bin Salman, who was appointed Medina governor in January 2013.
