Reema Bint Bandar: Cancer campaign

Princess Reema Bint Bandar, daughter of former ambassador to Washington Prince Bandar Bin Sultan, was involved in the organisation of the largest gathering ever of women in Saudi Arabia. She ran the mid-December 10KSA initiative to set a Guinness world record for the largest breast cancer awareness ribbon ever made out of people. Corporate sponsors included Alwaleed Philanthropies, GE and Uber. Some 13,000 women took part. The event at Princess Noura University included screenings and mental health checks, and generated some SR1.5m for the Zahra Breast Cancer Association.
