Qatar: Emir Tamim in Turkey

A frequent visitor to Turkey, Emir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani was back in Istanbul for a brief visit on 14 July. He had a meeting with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan before heading back to Doha. Earlier in the month, the emir met UAE deputy prime minister and minister of presidential affairs Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed, who flew to Doha on 6 July for a meeting at the Al-Bahr Palace. Tamim held an iftar banquet for the Emirati delegation. This followed Emir Tamim’s June visit to the UAE for talks with Mansour’s brother, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan.
