Mohammed Bin Zayed: King Abdullah II

Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan (MBZ) met King Abdullah II of Jordan on 8 October in Abu Dhabi. Foreign minister (and MBZ’s full brother) Abdullah Bin Zayed also attended the meeting, which comes as the UAE and Jordan play a significant role in the Arab coalition assisting the US in bombing jihadist targets in Syria and Iraq. The UAE state news agency said Jordan and the UAE had “emphasise[d] their joint vision for continuous consultation and co-ordination to face different challenges in a way that would guarantee security, stability and peace in the countries of the region”.
