Deputy Crown Prince and interior minister Mohammed Bin Nayef (MBN) made an official visit to the UK, arriving in London on 24 February. The British government sent home secretary Theresa May to meet him at Heathrow airport and, that night, foreign secretary Philip Hammond held a dinner banquet in his honour. The next day, MBN saw defence secretary Michael Fallon, and went to a dinner hosted by Britain’s Prince Charles, who was in Saudi Arabia earlier in February and saw MBN then.
