MBZ: Algiers, Rome, Sochi

Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan (MBZ) made a one-day state visit to Algeria on 16 October, holding talks with President Abdelaziz Bouteflika and the speaker of Algeria’s Council of the Nation, Abdelkader Bensalah. Travelling with MBZ were deputy prime minister Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan and foreign minister Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan (ABZ), MBZ’s youngest two full brothers. A number of dignitaries turned out to meet the de facto leader of the UAE on his arrival at Houari Boumediene international airport, including Bensalah, Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal and foreign minister Ramtane Lamamra.
