Khalid Bin Hamad: Beverly Hills speeding

The owner of a yellow Ferrari captured on video speeding through stop signs in Beverly Hills has been identified by Los Angeles police as Sheikh Khalid Bin Hamad Al-Thani, half-brother of Emir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani. Sheikh Khalid denied driving the car and told Beverly Hills police that he had diplomatic immunity. The police – after discussions with the US State Department and Qatari consulate – disagreed. Although the police were unable to prove that Sheikh Khalid was behind the wheel, he had apparently fled the country.
