Kenya: South Lokichar boost for Tullow

Tullow Oil is talking up its successful Etom-2 well in the underexplored northern part of Block 13T, which encountered 102 metres of net oil pay in two columns. Tullow described it as the best-quality reservoir encountered in the South Lokichar Basin to date. Further prospects identified on 3D seismic in the north of the basin, including the Erut and Elim prospects, will now be considered as part of the future exploration drilling programme.
