KRG threatens buyers of Iraqi crude

The Baghdad/Erbil brinkmanship continued on 14 July as the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) published a notice in London’s Financial Times threatening to take legal action against anyone who buys oil from the federal government without paying the KRG a share. Baghdad has also threatened legal action against anyone buying oil directly from the KRG.
