Iran: Nuclear talks extended

As GSN went to press, Iran and the P5 +1 were still holed up in nuclear talks in Lausanne, as attempts to secure a political deal extended past a 31 March deadline. Iran, China, France, Britain, Germany, Russia and the US have a formal deadline of 30 June to reach a comprehensive nuclear deal, but had agreed that the main points should be agreed upon by the end of March, leaving sufficient time to hammer out technical details.
