Ghana: Técnicas Reunidas signs EPC for Takoradi 4

The Volta River Authority (VRA) signed an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) agreement with Spain’s Técnicas Reunidas on 20 April for a 186MW gas turbine combined-cycle power plant at Takoradi.VRA said the project was expected to be completed within 30 months at an estimated cost of $239m. VRA project management manager Isaac Bedu said the Takoradi 4 Thermal Power Project would be constructed in two phases.
