Ghana: Pan Andean to reapply for Tano

Issue 306 - 08 Aug 2015 | 1 minute read

The Pan Andean Resources joint venture has agreed to reapply for an exploration licence in the Tano Basin following a dispute over the reallocation of some of the licence area to Camac Energy, now known as Erin Energy. Pan Andean is 60% owned by Clontarf Energy, 30% by Petrel Resources and 10% by Ghana’s Abbey Oil & Gas. A petroleum agreement for Tano Block 2A was signed in March 2010 but has not been approved by the Ghanaian cabinet or parliament.
