Sons of the late King Abdullah were involved in securing pardons for four men on death row in early July. They were pardoned by heirs or relatives of victims of murder. Former deputy foreign minister Prince Abdelaziz Bin Abdullah said murder victims’ families were very gracious “in allowing us to intercede and in forgiving the murderers of their family members.” Princes Turki, businessman Majid and Badr were also involved. Badr said “before he was king, my father was the head of National Security.
