In his new role as deputy crown prince, Miqrin Bin Abdelaziz Al-Saud has held a series of meetings and greeted those wishing to pledge allegiance to him in his new role. On 31 March, he received around 100 ambassadors at the Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh, according to state news agency SPA, as well as crowds of scholars, sheikhs, ministers, members of the majlis al-shura, military officials and citizens.
