African Development Bank (AfDB) private sector specialist Neside Tas Anvaripour has left her post as founding chief executive of the Africa50 Fund – a pet project of outgoing AfDB president Donald Kaberuka – as the facility reaches its first financial close and looks to step up operations from its base in the Casablanca Finance City (CFC) zone. Africa50 will advertise soon for a new chief executive and specialist staff, to be recruited from leading infrastructure finance institutions.
